You’re invited to explore how to participate in a local food system built on upcycled crops. This is an opportunity to:
Increase farm income and reduce waste through value-added processing.
Help institutions incorporate more local food without adding labor.
It’s a complex challenge and your thoughts and solutions are essential!
When: January 22, 12:00–3:30 PM (Snow date: January 23)
Where: Fork Food Lab, Portland, ME
Who: farmers, buyers, distributors and advocates looking to help create a local food system
Lunch will be provided, and stipends are available for new and small farmers.
Come join partners, stakeholders, institutional buyers, and local food system supporters for the annual meeting of the Partnership to celebrate the local harvest.
